It’s September 2026 now, and shortly it will be 4 years since Joss died suddenly, sleeping beside me. I’m just collating all the songs and bits of songs (the majority, alas) that I wrote either for or in her presence. There’s about 400 of them, I think, but that only equates to 10 per year. Some sound okay because real musicians recorded them…notably Richard Spencer…but my efforts are very ordinary. There are only a few videos of us singing together, although we sang together every single day. Some outfit (Deadsound) has now posted Songs for Joss songs on Spotify and other sites. The first of three albums is called ‘This First Day’.
